I cant seem to get rid of this photography bug.  I am constantly looking for new things and new locations and new people, not always finding what i am looking for.  but I cant complain.  I feel so inspired, and for the first time in years i have found myself a muse.  And I love my muse more each day.  i cant wait to get my new equipment so I can get even more busy with all my ideas for new shoots...

thank you to all my close friends and family for all your support.  

I am currently in a new city< looking for undiscovered things and unnoticed beauties.  It is so much fun doing some exploring.  i have also recently added a Facebook page for my Photography www.facebook.com/elanijacobsph… , please go and check it out.  it also features some of my more recent work.

i am enjoying the film photography so much, i am going to be extremely sad when it ends.... next year its back to normal digital photography.
the whole experience of developingmy own film, and the photos, making it with my own two hands, gave me  whole lot of respect for old photographers and the whole process of everything to do with it.  its a form of art, and anyone who hasnt done it themselves would never experience photography the way people who has.  it makes your outlook on photography new and fresh.  it teaches you to take he photo perfectly from the start, so you dont have to photoshop it.  it keeps the original essence of the photo alive.
once a photo is photoshopped even a little bit, the naturalism of the photo is lost, the detail gone and the feeling forever changed.
